Welcome to Pampered Piggy Cavies Stud, registered by myself, Amanda.

  

I am based in North Yorkshire just North of York. I have a small stud, or a hobby got out of hand! My cavies are now all housed in a 10 x 12 insulated shed. Being pampered piggies there are fans and opening windows in the summer, and of course there is heating in there in the winter on the coldest nights.

Currently I have mainly Teddy and Tort and whites which I am breeding. I also have a few Alpaca's and Abyssinian's that I cross breed for very attractive looking pets (this cross is sometimes known as  Abbyruvian).

 

I have been breeding tort and white for a year now and had some foundation stock of Tort and White's from good lines. They are notoriously difficult to get the patterning of there colours right for showing. New litter today. On first glance I appear to have two boars and two sows. All good sizes. Dam is a Pampered Piggies Teddy, Sire is  Malaxis Firefly from Sweden.
